CBSE की current Composite Skill Lab guidance, skill education को hands-on और activity-based learning से जोड़ती है। इसमें schools को आवश्यक equipment और machinery के साथ Composite Skill Lab स्थापित करके effectively operationalize करने को कहा गया है।
Space Requirement / जगह की आवश्यकता
Classes VI–XII के लिए एक lab चुनें, या अलग-अलग stages के लिए दो labs बनाएँ। नीचे areas को relative scale में दिखाया गया है।

यह lab practical competencies, hands-on learning और real-world tasks/projects को support करती है, ताकि concepts की understanding को practical application से जोड़ा जा सके। Framework, NCF-SE 2023 के approach के अनुसार तीन forms of work पर आधारित है।
Planning Note: Batch size, equipment और lab configuration, student strength, selected skill areas, available space, safety requirements और applicable CBSE guidelines पर निर्भर करते हैं। CBSE 2026 circular में equipment list को suggestive बताया गया है, जिसे school readiness के अनुसार adapt किया जा सकता है।
